ENZYME is a semi-regular Melbourne event which provides opportunities for the public with taste, to enjoy Australian underground live music performances and visuals. Previous artists have performed well outside the mainstream through a diverse slather including but not limited to; noise, experimental, avante garde, dark ambient, electronica, industrial, gothic, darkwave, trip hop, dark hip hop, metal and beyond.

What began in 2005 as a local experiment, is now an underground institution and we thank you for your support! The dates for 2009 are close to being booked in so please come back soon and get your calendar filled in.

Enzyme is funded by DEMUS (dark electronic music underground) a friendly community of International musicians (who you are welcome to join) and DARK STEREO (online music distributor). Infectious Unease Radio plays a crucial role in promotion, and exposure. All three organisations are NON PROFIT and are organised only to benefit musicians, and the artistic community.
