Minorarc - The Debut is out!

To the friends, fans and followers of Mystral Tide, we are excited to declare that the first release from our side project is now complete. It's been a long journey the last few months... but we did it!

We hope you enjoy the uncompromised fusion of piano work, progressive / death metal, industrial and more ambient elements in this release. Recorded between June and September 2010, this is our first album to fully embrace collaboration with other artists, such as Cassandra's Myth and Sarcophony. The first pressing also contains three bonus tracks which were arranged as blind remixes by Alternate Parallel Reality, Nigel J Moore and Milkrun.

Minorarc - A New Era

After over a decade of working on the Mystral Tide project, we are taking a break to work on a new concept and project called Minorarc. Recording of a debut album under this title is in progress, and is symbolic of a shift in atmosphere, influence, and also recording method.

We expect the minorarc project will still work from the dark and classical elements which became the mainstay of Mystral Tide during its latter years, but we are also focusing on a few key elements in this new project. Diversity, and a return to our heavyer roots, and a new mechanism for expression devoid of the pre-conceptions that Mystral Tide brings.

Mystral Tide led us to many wonderful friends and fans over the years, and we thank you for your support, and hope you join us for this new journey to unravel during the coming months.
